Diseñar indicadores de gestión para las acciones o programas de Responsabilidad social universitaria sustentable de la universidad.

La pertinencia de la educación superior debe evaluarse en función de la adecuación entre lo que la sociedad espera de las instituciones y lo que éstas hacen. En el informe final de La Habana, en 1996 expresó que “una definición de pertinencia radica en el papel que cumple y el lugar que ocupa la educación superior en función de las necesidades y demandas de los diversos sectores sociales”. La Responsabilidad Social Universitaria no es una función más de la Universidad, sino una manera de alinear todas sus funciones con la ética, la pertinencia social y las exigencias del desarrollo humano sostenible. Como tal, la RSU es una política de gestión ética integral y transversal de las tres funciones sustantivas (Formación, Investigación, Extensión) y de la administración central de la Universidad. En línea con lo anterior, la Universidad Blas Pascal trabaja la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria Sustentable en el ámbito de su Secretaría de Extensión, declarando lo siguiente: “La Universidad prepara profesionales con una formación integral que les permitirá arribar a soluciones técnicas desde su desarrollo disciplinar (saber y saber hacer) y a la vez desarrollar empatía y sensibilidad ante los problemas y la realidad que se presenta desde criterios éticos, solidarios y sostenibles.” Considerando los anteriores enunciados, el presente Proyecto de Investigación cuyo título es “Diseño de indicadores para la gestión de acciones de Responsabilidad Social Universitaria en la Universidad Blas Pascal; tiene por finalidad diseñar indicadores que permitan gestionar los resultados de las acciones de RSU en términos de impacto institucional y social. De esta manera se pretende mostrar el aporte de tales acciones al logro de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. Se utilizará una metodología mixta, exploratoria no experimental. Se espera que el resultado del presente proyecto de investigación tenga un impacto favorable en la Institución y posibilidades de réplica en otras Universidades e Instituciones Educativas de Nivel Superior. Asimismo, se espera poder extender sus resultados al campo científico mediante la publicación de avances y conclusiones.

The relevance of higher education should be assessed in terms of the fit between what society expects of institutions and what they do. In the final report of Havana in 1996, it stated that "a definition of relevance lies in the role and place of higher education in terms of the needs and demands of the various social sectors". University Social Responsibility is not just another function of the University, but a way of aligning all its functions with ethics, social relevance and the demands of sustainable human development. As such, USR is an integral and transversal ethical management policy of the three substantive functions (Education, Research, Extension) and of the central administration of the University. In line with the above, Blas Pascal University works on Sustainable University Social Responsibility within the scope of its Extension Secretariat, stating the following: "The University prepares professionals with a comprehensive training that will enable them to arrive at technical solutions from their disciplinary development (knowledge and know-how) and at the same time develop empathy and sensitivity to the problems and the reality that arises from ethical, solidarity and sustainable criteria". Considering the above statements, the present research project whose title is "Design of indicators for the management of actions of University Social Responsibility at the University Blas Pascal; aims to design indicators to manage the results of the actions of RSU in terms of institutional and social impact. In this way, the aim is to show the contribution of such actions to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. A mixed, exploratory, non-experimental methodology will be used. It is hoped that the results of this research project will have a favourable impact on the Institution and the possibility of replication in other Universities and Higher Education Institutions. It is also expected to be able to extend its results to the scientific field through the publication of advances and conclusions.
