Aportar a la discusión contemporánea sobre la domesticidad en contextos locales a partir de reconocer indicadores de calidad cultural, desarrollados a partir de una profundización conceptual en interrelación con la producción de viviendas del arquitecto ‘Togo’ Díaz en la ciudad de Córdoba, con la documentación patrimonial disponible en el archivo y con la mediación digital la plataforma digital previamente diseñada, potenciando su interfaz para la interacción con estudiantes, profesionales, investigadores y público en general.

Este proyecto indaga una problemática contemporánea del campo de la arquitectura que atraviesa la vida cotidiana: la domesticidad y los espacios que la albergan. Se entiende a la domesticidad como construcción cultural, en un contexto profesional actual en una profunda crisis de referencias con producción de arquitecturas sin espesor conceptual, pero a su vez con un dinamismo donde edificaciones con calidad cultural producida en las últimas décadas son reemplazadas rápidamente frente a presiones inmobiliarias. Al mismo tiempo si la arquitectura es resultado de un proceso de construcción cultural y es aporte a modelos que orientan la propia práctica de una época, la documentación sobre los procesos de producción es una de las claves para entender la trama de relaciones que aportan a la calidad del hábitat como resultado. Así los archivos personales de arquitectura aportan desde la microhistoria a entender el presente y sus desafíos. José Ignacio ‘Togo’ Díaz, arquitecto cordobés cuya producción, en formato principalmente de edificios en altura y viviendas individuales, es una referencia tanto del diseño como de la producción de arquitectura con calidad cultural en la segunda parte del siglo XX en Córdoba. En investigaciones anteriores indagamos las relaciones entre diseño y producción, en particular de edificios en altura. El archivo alojado en la Universidad Blas Pascal cuenta con gran parte del acervo documental de la vasta producción del arquitecto, aunque la propia sistematización y los cuidados de preservación, limitan el acceso al mismo, por lo cual indagamos nuevas formas de interacción a través de TICs que han conducido a la construcción de una plataforma virtual. En este proyecto se plantea un triple desafío: delimitar lo doméstico como categoría de análisis en la obra de viviendas individuales del arquitecto (poco investigadas y bajo presión inmobiliaria), completar su digitalización incorporando este conjunto al registro ya iniciado e integrarlo a la plataforma interactiva en desarrollo que, mediante mediaciones digitales, posibilita el diálogo con estudiantes, profesionales y ciudadanía. Esta tarea busca aportar tanto a discusiones sobre lo doméstico contemporáneo como a la patrimonialización de arquitectura existente, con estrategias que permitan al archivo su difusión y circulación como patrimonio vivo.

This project explores a contemporary problematic in the architecture field that permeates everyday life: domesticity and the spaces that contain it. Domesticity is understood as a cultural construction, in a current professional context of deep references crisis, with the production of architecture lacking conceptual depth, and at the same time experiencing a dynamism where buildings of cultural quality produced in recent decades are rapidly replaced in the face of real estate pressures. At the same time, if architecture is the result of a process of cultural construction and contributes to the refrences that guide the practice of a time, documentation of production processes is one of the keys to understanding the web of relationships that contribute to the quality of the resulting habitat. Thus, personal architectural archives contribute, through microhistory, to understanding the present and its challenges. José Ignacio "Togo" Díaz, a Cordoba architect whose work, primarily in the form of high-rise buildings and single-family homes, is a benchmark for both the design and production of architectural excellence in the second half of the 20th century in Córdoba. In previous research, we investigated the relationship between design and production, particularly in the field of high-rise buildings. The archive housed at the Blas Pascal University houses a large part of the documentary collection of the architect"s vast output, although the systematization and preservation measures limit access to it. Therefore, we explore new forms of interaction through ICTs that have led to the construction of a virtual platform. This project poses a triple challenge: to define the domestic as a analysis category in the architect"s individual residencial work (under-researched and under real estate pressure); to complete its digitization by incorporating this collection into the already initiated registry; and to integrate it into the interactive platform under development that, through digital mediation, enables dialogue with students, professionals, and the public. This task seeks to contribute both to discussions on contemporary domesticity and to the patrimonialization of existing architecture, with strategies that allow the archive to be disseminated and circulated as living heritage.
